Virtual Light (Author: William Gibson)

The world created in Neuromancer is continued in the lives of the characters in Virtual Light. Though not nearly as mature as the aforementioned novel, this book still contains some suggestive themes, as well as outright vulgar and offensive language. If you would like to keep the novels you read clean, please consider another author. Gibson paints the world he thinks will come to be, and has no trouble describing that world in terms that might make a few people blush. As in previous works, Gibson continues to give the reader a dynamite plot and interesting insight into the genre as a whole. The characterization is vague, but this author feels the need to remind his readers that this is normal for Science Fiction. If an author wishes to explore the relm of characterization, he uses a different genre (for example, Gibson could do better characterization if he were to pen either a fantasy novel or a tech manual.)
Addiction Rating: 2.5, Overall Rating: 3.5.
