Windows Startup Stuff (Author: kevin)
I've found three places to look for windows startup files:
If you don't find the startup program here. Then I don't know where it
is. Sorry! :(
- Start -> Programs -> Startup. This is far and away the easiest one to
debug. Just go find it, and remove it from this folder.
- Autoexec.bat. This is a bit more trickey. Just use notepad to upen
the autoexec.bat file and comment out (REM) the line.
- Registry -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows ->
Run. Don't try it. If you don't know what this means, STAY OUT! This is
the easiest way I know of (short of format c:) to screw up your
computer for good!
