Flash of Mind A flash of mind I traverse time To glimpse eternity I leap the space To see your face And hold you close to me. In this land I understand I can't be by your side, But by His will Here on this hill In Him I still abide. In this hour I know the power Of the One who "let there be..." He has a plan For all of man And one for you and me. Each life a book If we could look He's written all our days On this page I heed the Sage And follow in His ways.

I wrote this one summer when I was working at a camp far away from my love. It was hard to be away from him, but God was working on us both.
