Ingredients: * 1-1/3 cups milk * 2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar * 3/4 teaspoon butter or margarine * 1/8 teaspoon salt * 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats * 2/3 cup chopped, peeled apples * 1/3 cup chopped walnuts * 1/3 cup raisins or dried cranberries * 1/3 cup wheat germ (optional)

Instructions: In a saucepan, heat milk, brown sugar, butter, salt and cinnamon. Add remaining ingredients; mix gently. Spoon into a greased 2-qt. casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. |
