Ingredients:
PANCAKES:
2 cups buttermilk baking mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup applesauce
1 Tablespoon (or more) butter
APPLE SYRUP:
1/2 10-ounce jar apple jelly
1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of ground cloves |

Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Melt 1 Tablespoon butter onto hot griddle. Add batter, 1/4 cup at a time. Cook pancakes until browned, turning once, about 1 minute per side. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more butter to griddle if necessary.
Apple Syrup:
Melt jelly in saucepan over low heat. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until heated through.
Makes 1 Cup. |
